Aloha Activism is a community movement that aims to empower the lower Puna culture through geothermal awareness and education. the organization challenges the propaganda surrounding "clean energy" and its false narratives, and strives to restore Puna to a place of revitalizing power, as it is the single wahi pana that provides health and life to all the rest of the sacred places in the Hawaiian islands. You can join Aloha Activism in their mission to make a positive impact on the community by exploring website, Joining the 'A'Ole PGV Facebook group, and sharing out the daily updates from there. this website offers a wealth of information about PUNA and its CULTURE, including Madame Pele and fights to protect KIlauea Volcano.

All About Me

Aloha and welcome to Aloha Activism, the official site of Aloha Ola O Ka Pono. I’m Jasmine Sara Steiner, a proud daughter of Puna, Hawaii, and creator of this geothermal awareness platform focused on our community's challenges.

I hail from Leilani Estates along the sacred lower Puna coastline, a place rich in cultural significance, especially at Kumukahi, the "Ladder of the Sun."

 

I've witnessed the political struggles our people face, live the daily concealment, and carry a deep love for my homeland, guided by my cherished kupunas.

Living near Puna Geothermal Venture for over 35 years, I’ve seen the detrimental impacts of the so-called "clean" energy agenda. My mother leads the current community activism efforts, and I joined her after losing everything in the 2018 eruption, which has been sientifically proven to have been significantly ramped up and turned explosive, due to the diversion tactics used by PG, aka "well quenching".

 

This website reflects my love for Puna and our fight to #FREEPUNA.

I started JazzyIslandJewelry back in 2012 after my mom bestowed upon me her entire collection of seaglass and seashells that had watched her collect my entire life ( I was in awe, I was so happy and felt extremely blessed, as it was one thing I always always remember about mom and our trips. Anytime she took us anywhere she always went straight to her adventures of shell finding . I knew how special it was to HER. so for me to have them, made it even more special. ) I then started as a hobby , making myself jewelry and my mom as well. And friends and family. This hobby quickly turned into my sole source of income to support my ohana ! With a young keiki (child) at home, it's truly a mother's dream to be able to sit at home and do your craft and passion, and be able to support your own with it. My main mediums used are Hawaiian sunrise shells (THE shell of Hawaiian Royalty, only found in the ocean surrounding hawaiian archipelago) , hawaii island cone shells, seaglass, corals, crystals, precious gemstones , sterling and gold. 

 
 Life has it's challenges and ups and downs , and sadly the past couple years I've been not making jewelry, but I am happy to say, the universe has alleged itself again to this being a reality for me . I cannot wait to offer the world LOTS more JazzyIslandJewelry in the years to come. Starting this summer, the shop will be open here on this website. On August 13th, 2024 , the reveal date of the website, I will have a raffle style gift-away 😀 😎 4 lucky locals (HAWAII GIVEAWAY) will receive a pair of JazzyIslandJewelry earrings, or a necklace , your choice , 14k Gold Filled (gold plated rubs off quickly, I don't use gold plated materials, all my wire is gold Filled which does not fade or rub off ) or .925 sterling silver, your choice.
