They have already been drilling Kīlauea lower east rift zone for decades , eastgate kumukahi is traditionally the source of all life to all wahi pana in the hawaiian islands , and all the while the Puna community in the radius cry out poisoned and dying off even climbing the ladder in the appeals court in the active unprecedented Hawaii Geothermal injunction -->

Now DHHL wants to bring that same toxic geothermal to Kaʻū — on Native Hawaiian homestead lands, on OUR wai, under the places we hunt, fish, and feed our ʻohana.

Puna has suffered 40 years: hidden blowouts, sick keiki, poisoned air.

They call it “clean energy.”

We call it desecration of Pele and Papakū.
