I want to review this significant article from Science Daily that discusses particulate matter and its impact on our lungs. This is a major problem affecting hundreds of people in this area. It is undetectable and has no smell; when we detect the odor of rotten eggs here in Leilani, it is usually sulfur dioxide (SO2) that we are smelling. By the time we notice that odor, we are already exposed to odorless heavy metals. Assistance is required as multiple generations in this area are suffering from illnesses that are just mocked and covered up for Puna Geothermal Venture to continue its completely unethical desecration of Madame Pele .

Sadly its been proven in the 2024 Hawaii Enrrgy Injunction fiked on April 5th 2024 that the water quenching actions by Puna Geothermal Venture (stupidely and brainlessly) blew up their leilani eststes Geothermal well fields and covered over 700 livelihoods in 80 plus feet of lava, plus the 35 years of unmonitored fracking and poisoning of all land and people , drilling and cracking open the highest possible rosk area of the Lower East Rift Zone of Kīlauea volcano, turning it into hamburger underneath us here in the leilani to Kapoho to Opihikau triangle that we bave no escape routes from.... any previous time before 2018, n the written history of Kīlauea , that she came this route, she would have went to kumukahi ,Ladder of the Sun, with no issuea.... PGVs actions turned a otherwise normal visit from tutu Pele into a ramped up explosive crazy visit which seemed more like Ai Laau (Yet you can ask any Hawaiian on moku o keawe , they will tell you 2018 was not natural at all , it was due to pgv...the news medias and any independent journalist in Hawaii are just is too paid off to ever report truths to you, the people). Due to the desecration and the fracking in our backyards, it has made the entire triangle just stated completely unsafe as far as the air and water. Particulate matter and heavy metals riddle the Lower Puna Coastline yet you would NEVER HEAR THE TRUTH from ANYONE due to the repercussions they would face.
Volcanoes inherently pose natural hazards as this article by science daily shows and speaks about. Just so happens that Mucous build up and cancer are 2 of the top symptoms of the geothermal toxins, which I believe is all part of the reason they are able to gaslight the entire world into believing it's all not PGV caused .
It is illogical to introduce cancer (via Geothermal chemicals that they mix with water and inject into a open loop system. Remember, it is not closed loop at all) into one of the most active volcanoes in the world, located in the midst of a neighborhood with no monitoring for decades, especially while opening it up LITERALLY in peoples backyards, and disregarding other potential risks besides sulfur dioxide emission. 🤣 #aolepilikia #decadesofLIES #OHA #DHHL #HEWA

With this being said I would like to share in this blog the one single medical book you can find out there regarding actual studies and deaths related to these Particulate matter chemicals and heavy metals connected to Puna Geothermal Venture , which is on my YouTube Channel :
the lower Puna community has been dealing with this for 4 decades now, but more so since the 2018 eruption and the pgv created fissures that are still currently active within leilani estates, spewing out this Particulate Matter 24/7 . Simply breathing, eating, and drinking exposes the body to these contaminants...."
This particular issue (MUCUS BUILDUP and Lung Issues) is something this community has dealt with and complained to officials , the department of health,Hawaii EMA, civil defence, hpd, the mayor, our reps, OHA ETC FOR 35 YEARS ! Here's a couple short clips to give you some context :
The blowouts she refers to here above in this clip, are referenced as well in the injunction in my declaration and my mom's. During the 91 blowout.... my entire community was basically trapped down here( We still would be now, 35 years later as they keep us trapped so we dont want to live here and they can continue the volcano mining )..everyone basically got as far as they could to escape , which ended up being seaview lawn , and everyone basically accepted that we may all just die right there. It traumatized many here on the pohoiki coast and still to this day there are no emergency procedures for the humans or roads for us to escape.
We actually have no roads at all now. she also refers to the contested case in 2015... that was my mom who filed that case .. this is a great short clip of testimony by a community member . It is complete proof of the corruption within the state of Hawaii when it comes to erasing Puna culture and the fact that all life in Puna Geothermal Venture radius matters nothing at all to OHA , DHHL, OR PGV OR ANYONE AT ALL in seats of power in state of Hawaii because Israeli ormat pays too much (See community petitions change.org/lerzkilauearecovery And Change.org/pgvpetitionaole )
Puna Pono is my Ohana... Petricci is the owner of the back half of the farm I live on, with the front half being my mom's, Sara steiner, the community artist/activist/paralegal who filed the injunction pro se . Another thing to note about Puna Pono Alliance , is that Mililani Trask, "miss Contradictions" used to actually be a part of their fight to STOP GEOTHERMAL DOWN HERE IN WAO KELE O PUNA (YES ITS STILL HERE. IT NEVER LEFT , THEY JUST LIED TO YOU ALL THESE YEARS AND STATE THAT IT DID AS ORMAT ISRAEL PAYS THEM OFF. Lets be real , #OHA (note Mike kalekini conflict of interest. He is the literal.pgv plant manager , who also is chairperson of DHHL LOL SURE BUD . SELL OUT YOUR OWN KIND FOR ECOCIDE. FOR SLAUGHTER. )

In Biophysics Reviews, from AIP Publishing, researchers from the Technical University of Munich review recent scientific literature about the effects of particle contaminants on the mucosal system, an internal membrane that serves as the body’s lubricant and the first line of defense from infections and toxins. These data establish a clear link between exposure to airborne or waterborne particulate matter and several health conditions."
Heres why we NEED to have CLEAN AIR IN LEILANI AND KAPOHO AND POHOIKI and all over the globe i,n order to have healthy systems of life :
“Mucosal barriers are really important to protect various body systems, but that mucosal function is only there if we don’t damage it,” said co-author Oliver Lieleg. “Sadly, our native mucosal systems are being compromised by micro- and nanoparticles present in our environment.”
Pollution in the air and water has four major effects on the mucosal system. Structural changes can create holes, making the mucosal barrier leaky. Pathogens and toxins can piggyback on the particles and enter the body. Cells can produce too much or too little mucus, and neither is good for preserving optimal function (e.g., when lubricating the eye to protect from abrasion upon blinking). Finally, the quality (e.g., stiffness) of the mucus itself can become altered.
“Mucus is a complex mixture of components, and keeping the composition right is important,” said Lieleg. “Imagine if you add too much flour to the recipe when making a dough. The bread would come out hard and brittle. Contaminating mucus with black carbon or microplastic has similar negative effects and can alter mucus structure and function.”
According to science daily : "“This is a topic we have to deal with and soon. That is clear as of today,” said Lieleg. “Still, we need more research to better understand which particles pose a threat and why. Those further insights are needed, so we can figure out how best to mitigate these effects.”
